Home Sweet Home

Introducing Knitteapolis, Minnesota’s yarnbomber. Knitteapolis’ passion is adding colorful soft street art to the Twin Cities, one yarnbomb at a time. She began yarnbombing in May of 2014, and in that time has done over 1000 installations in the Twin Cities, including Minnesota’s Largest Yarnbomb at the OVALumintion in Roseville MN. She also covered the entire east Mall of America sign, and a life size horse statue for Junk Bonanza, which is still on display at Canterbury Park. One of her exciting includes a Metro Transit bus! Knitteapolis yarnbombed the interior of the bus to look like a forest and it was in service throughout the metro area for three months. She is currently working on yarnbombing the entire ramp of the Grand Stand at the Minnesota State Fair which will be on display during the fair this summer. You can find more of her work on Instagram, Twitter, & Facebook as Knitteapolis.
